Technical Specifications

• The MC210CS is a media converter designed to convert 1000BASE-LX/LH fiber media to 1000Base-T copper, or vice versa. Designed under the IEEE802.3ab 1000Base-T and IEEE802.3z 1000Base-LX/LH standards, the MC210CS is intended for use with single-mode fiber cables using the SC connector. The MC210CS is compatible with the long-wavelength (LX) laser specification at a fast cable transmission speed. It operates at 1310 nm for data transmission and reception.
• Other features of this module include the ability to be used as a standalone device (does not require a chassis) or with the 19” TP-LINK system chassis, Auto MDI / MDI-X for the TX port, and front panel status LEDs. The MC210CS will transmit over extended distances of optical fiber using single-mode optical fiber up to 15 kilometers.
